Restaurante La Puntilla Casa Menso
About This Spot
Restaurante La Puntilla Casa Menso is a lively, sunlit gathering spot tucked just steps from the gentle waves of Morro Jable’s sandy shoreline. As you arrive, the hum of conversation and the clinking of glasses mingle with the scent of fresh sea breeze, setting an inviting, bustling tone that echoes its coastal surroundings. It’s the kind of place where the pace feels unhurried despite the steady flow of guests — a space that balances warmth and energy with an unmistakable local charm.
The atmosphere here carries the joyful complexity of a seaside town in full swing, where families, friends, and travelers find common ground through shared moments and shared meals. The dining room buzzes softly with a friendly, slightly noisy spirit that feels authentic rather than forced, a reminder that this is a place meant for gathering and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
In this setting, the cuisine unfolds as a heartfelt tribute to Spanish coastal flavors — plates are crafted with care, honoring both tradition and freshness. Whether it’s the rich textures of freshly grilled squid, the comforting embrace of a perfectly balanced seafood paella meant to be savored by two, or the thoughtful touch of gluten-free options that ensure all guests feel looked after, there’s a genuine generosity to the kitchen’s offerings. Small details, like various sauces paired with warm bread and a splash of home-style sangria, add layers of character without overcomplicating the experience.
Staff here weave knowledge and warmth effortlessly into each interaction. They carry the rhythm of the restaurant with attentive care, understanding guests’ needs and quietly creating an environment where each visit feels both familiar and special. The sense of being seen — whether as a local returning to a favorite spot or a visitor discovering the flavors of Fuerteventura for the first time — quietly defines the rhythm of Casa Menso.
Choosing to dine here is less about a formal outing and more about embracing a moment: the murmur of voices, the salt-kissed air, the textured layers of food that invite you into a deeper connection with place and people. It’s a local treasure where heartfelt hospitality and passionate cooking meet, making it a quietly memorable stop on any journey through Morro Jable.

Very knowledgeable staff that took great care ensuring no cross contamination. Even though gluten free items not marked the serving staff know everything that coeliacs can eat and they talk you through the menu. They've gluten free batter so I had the calamari, whopping portion size. Wasn't crispy but the squid was huge and perfectly cooked, creamy and white. Divine. Gf bread too and they gave me my own dips so no cross contamination. So thoughtful. A fab meal. Kids and dogs get treats which is a lovely touch. Highly recommend. I'll be going back.

Had walked by a couple of times and the food they served looked very delicious. I decided to try out the restaurant. I asked for a table and got one right away and within minutes 2 waitors had asked if I wanted something to drink and brought the menu. I ordered garlicbread, sirloin steak with bearnaisesauce and a beer. I was pleasantly surprised. The garlicbread was delicious with fresh bread, butter and lots of garlic. And the sirloin steak was fried perfectly and tasted really good. The few vegetables and the fries were good as well. It is a little bit noisy, but thats to be expected in a narrow outdoor eating area. I will definitely dine at Restaurante La Puntilla Casa Menso again.

Last year we were in here and surprisingly the taste not changed! Very delicious and the chief is super friendly! Must visit if you are on vacation around the corner. No reservation. But you will never regret for waiting or stay in Que! The atmosphere a bit noisy, which normal and you should expect as it is tourists area. :) We will definitely will eat in this restaurant again when we will visit Fuerteventura next time!

Highly recommended! Cozy restaurant right near the beach. Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious and freshly prepared food. The paella is absolutely top-notch. Only the sangria with canned fruit gets a B rating. Otherwise, absolutely recommended!

We had a very nice Spanish traditional meal here. Gambas, paella, sangria and a fantastic tiramisù that warmed our little Italian hearts. Staff is great and very welcoming, you can see they're hardworking people that care about their customers. Will be back!

Lovely location by the sea. The BEST prawns! Worth a visit if you are in Morro Jable or even a nice walk from Jandía. Also let us try a local liqueur. The staff were nice too. Thank you :)

The paella was fantastic and reasonably priced. I took the photo while it was being served by the waitress so you don’t see how rich in seafood it was. Prawns with garlic and oil were great. Olives very very good, though pricey. We were super happy with the food and service and will come back.
